Philosophy of Care
My philosophy of care involves a patient-centered approach. As an internist, I am used to taking care of patients with multiple complex illnesses, and as a geriatrician, I help patients and families deal with medical illnesses through the later stages of life.
I like to focus on my patients' health goals and help them achieve those goals. This includes educating patients about their medical disease(s) and helping patients prevent illness. I am a strong believer in preventive medicine. I strive to help patients feel better about their care and their health. I work with patients to not only help them understand their illnesses but work collaboratively with patients to come up with strategies to treat their illnesses.
